We are honored to announce that Rev. Dr. Bill Akpinar has been appointed as the Surgeon General of the 4A2CN Tribal Nation. In this esteemed role, Rev. Dr. Akpinar will oversee the advancement of tribal health initiatives, support the integration of traditional and modern healing practices, and guide the Nation’s approach to preventative care, wellness education, and medical sovereignty.
A distinguished physician, acupuncturist, dentist, and ordained minister, Dr. Akpinar brings decades of experience in integrative and holistic medicine. His work embodies the sacred balance between science and spirit—deeply aligning with our tribal values of healing, respect for nature, and care for the whole person.
As Surgeon General, Rev. Dr. Akpinar will serve as a key advisor to the Tribal Council and the Global Coalition of Indigenous Medicines, helping to shape public health policy, expand tribal medical licensing, and ensure that all members of our Nation have access to culturally appropriate, spiritually grounded healthcare.
